Father's Day!

Father's Day was just a wonderful day for our family.  The kids were thrilled to give Jerry his "Best Chef" plate and mug.  Jerry had gone to the store with Kathryn and saw her face as she passed the plate.  She was so excited.

Our kids loved to spend time with "Gwampa."  I think I may be sad when Henry finally gets his r's.

Bridget was glued to my mom all weekend. Mom just loved on her the whole time.  Bridget played on the waterslide for the first time on Father's Day.  It was so cute to hear her baby squeals of delight when she went down the very bottom of the slide.

Jack loves the slide.  I was so thankful that the kids could play on it while my parents were here. We had a wonderful, sunny weekend.

Henry loves to swing.  Sometimes he pretends he is Batman, and says he is going to "fly like a bald eagle."

My parents left after dinner.  Jerry cooked all weekend.  Everything was fabulous.  He made paprika shrimp with avocado and orange salsa over rice for dinner.  It was so good.  It got really windy after dinner, and Jerry and Henry were able to fly a kite while laying in the hammock.

That night there was a big storm here.  Jerry and I sat on the porch and just watched it roll in.  The wind gusts were amazing and there was quite the lightening show.  Thankfully the wee ones slept through it because they were worn out from their day on the slide.
