Today we hosted a giant trivial pursuit game. We asked five families from our church to be on bike teams. They each asked a family that they either didn't know well or just because of the chaos of life haven't found a time to all get together. Then we had six different families that live in our neighborhood and go to our church be question houses. Each house was a different color. We rode bikes to each house and would try to answer a question correctly. If we got the answer wrong, then they had us do something silly like play leap frog, sing, etc. It was so fun! God blessed us with a perfect afternoon despite all the rain we had in the morning. After we were done with the game, everyone came back to our house for a pitch-in cookout. What a fun evening! Those of you from Taylor that might read this may remember doing something very similar on a wing pick-a-date once. I'm hoping we can do this again in the fall. The kids loved it!
