Helpful Find

Our Wednesdays are really busy.  We are running kids here and there.  So when all of the hoopla started, I thought I would just make Wednesdays be the day when I cook in my crock pot.  It was going to be fast food night, but the fun fast food turned into another errand.  So last night while I was surfing through the blogs, I found this super helpful site.  This gal is using her crock pot every day in 2008. She shows you a picture, lists the ingredients, gives directions, and then gives her "verdict" of the recipe.  I love that they are all indexed too.  Let me know if you try a recipe and really love it.  If I can get both kids to sleep at the same time, then I'm off to paint the dining room!  If not now, then tonight after bed!

I already added a link to my blog list. Once my kitchen is up and running I want to crockpot more frequently. Wednesdays are busy for us too becuase we have evening church, choir and I go to a women's Bible study so I think I'll make it my weekly resolution, too!

Be sure to take some before and afte dining room photos! It sounds like most of my nights!

That's a wonderful solution and much healthier, too! Flylady says the crock pot is the queen of our kitchen.

Amy!
Funny thing...I used her site a few weeks ago to make the Over Night Grits. I was teaching a unit on the Civil War and wanted a recipe for grits, since it was a common food for the slaves. I had never eater grits before, but with brown sugar, cinnamon and dried fruit, it was really yummy.
